In the heart tissue damage from a heart attack stretches the left ventricle and contributes to heart failure.
Massive heart attack kidney failure. Kidney failure means dirty blood. Healthy kidneys regulate the amount of homocysteine in the blood and remove any excess. When a person develops both heart and kidney problems.
Rapidly deteriorating kidney function can cause acute heart failure. Heart disease and kidney disease are intricately connected as the hearts job is to pump blood and the kidneys job is to filter the blood removing waste and extra water. Patients who have heart failure or who suffer a heart attack can develop kidney problemseither acute kidney injury or chronic kidney disease.
Chronic kidney disease is a strong risk factor for coronary artery disease CAD heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. This can increase your chances of having a heart attack. Acute episodes of heart failure can cause acute kidney damage.
Chronic heart failure over a prolonged period often produces chronic kidney disease. Damaged kidneys may release too much renin which can lead to high blood pressure. This increases the risk for heart attack congestive heart failure and stroke.
The electrical impulses are mainly responsible for heartbeats and these impulses become weak and irregular as parts of the heart muscles become dead. Damaged kidneys may release too much of an enzyme called renin which helps to control blood pressure. People with kidney disease or kidney failure are at risk for heart disease.
